Francis Ward

Francis R. Ward “Fritz” of Crystal Lake, passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 91.  He was born in Council Bluffs, IA spending his early career in Human Resources.

Later, his entrepreneurial spirit lead him toward the field of nuclear medicine.  A life-long avid hunter and boater, upon retirement, he purchased a boat and navigated the “Great Loop”.  He valued greatly the many friendships he made at the Health Bridge Fitness Center.  He is survived by his soulmate of 25 years, Patti, son Kevin, and daughters Fran Sternberg, Connie Mastro, and Jennifer Heath, along with 10 grandchildren, and many great-grand children.  He cherished his cat Leo.
