Frank Lombardo

Frank Lombardo, 79, of McHenry passed away on September 24, 2023. He was born in Sicily, Italy on May 9, 1944 to Antonino and Francesca (Clemente) Lombardo.

A printer by trade for over 30 years, Frank made himself available wherever he was needed, and notably served as a caretaker for his mother.

As an only child, he formed cherished bonds with his cousins and deeply valued the time spent with his family, particularly his great-grandchildren. Frank had a love for exploring the country by car, often journeying to California to visit family, with joyful stops in Vegas to play a hand or two of Blackjack.

His life, though simple, was abundant with love and dedication, creating a legacy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Frank is survived by his children, Francine (Mike) Razalenti and Frank (Traci) Lombardo; grandchildren, Nicholas (Jeanette) Lombardo and Amanda Lombardo; and great grandchildren, Landon and Isabella Lombardo.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Sandra (Witkowski); son, Anthony “Tony”; and his parents.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Mass will be on Saturday at 10:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Huntley.
