Gail Diane Archer

Gail Diane Archer (nee Lynch), age 75, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Gail was born in Wichita, KS on May 5, 1949.  She grew up in Southern California with her parents and 3 brothers. She met and married her husband Dennis in 1974 and raised 3 children together.

She enjoyed puzzles, bird watching, sewing, and elephants.

Her family was very important to her and one of her great joys. She spent much of her time visiting brothers, nieces and nephews; and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren strewn out over the country.

She was very generous and loved giving gifts. She saw giving as a way to honor the Lord and to show the people around her love.

Most importantly, she loved Jesus. He is still the most important part of her life.  She was active in church with bible study, teaching Sunday school, and choir. We are also confident and comforted that she is now with Jesus enjoying paradise.

Gail is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Dennis Archer; loving children, Rozann Downing (Bubba), Brad Archer (Ruthie), and Brittany; and grandchildren Jamie Brewer (Chris), Kressida Melton (Greg), Ruby Archer, August Archer, and Ember Archer; great-grandchildren Kassie Melton, Hayden Melton, Haley Brewer, Hudson Brewer, Alex Brewer, Kieran Brewer, Katyln Brewer and Lane Mullins. She is also survived by her brothers; Wes Lynch (Sue), and Craig Lynch(Jonie), and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Ruby Lynch; her elder brother Gordon Lynch; and lifelong friend Linda Sullivan.

There will be a visitation from 930am to 11am on Saturday, May 18th, 2024; followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. Visitation and Services will be held at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church of Barrington, at 1301 S Grove Ave, Barrington, IL 60010.
