Valparaiso, Indiana (formerly of Crystal Lake, Illinois),The Mass of Christian Burial for Gail Catherine LaMotte (nee Hoes), 55, formerly of Crystal Lake, will be held Friday, December 18, 2009, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, where there will be visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at noon. The interment will be held at a later date. Born September 9, 1954, in Highwood, Illinois, she passed away Friday, December 11, 2009, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Gail was currently the treasurer of the Union Township Middle School in Valparaiso. Gail was the beloved wife of Charles Joseph LaMotte, Jr.; loving mother of Matthew Christopher and Mark Alexander LaMotte; cherished daughter of the late Gunther and Arlyne (nee Duerr) Hoes; dear sister of Janet (Richard) Schneider, Lynne (Larry) Pappa, and Ron (the late Mary) Hoes and sister-in-law of Suzanne (Samuel) Stepp, Barbara (Ronald) Harris, and Nancy (the late Adolph) Mysliwiec; devoted daughter-in-law of Charles J. (the late Eleanor) LaMotte, Sr.; and cherished niece of the late Lois and Al Kelch. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gail?s name may be made to the National Mental Health Association (nmha.org) or the Alzheimer?s Association (alz.org).
