Gerald Herbert Solarz

Gerald “Jerry” Herbert Solarz, 83 of Crystal Lake passed away on June 5, 2021.

He was the loving husband of Carole; beloved father of Mike Solarz, Tim (Rick Bonofiglio) Solarz, and Dan (Julie) Solarz; cherished grandfather of Kaitlyn, Abigail and Matthew Solarz; dear brother of Roy (the late Dorothy), Norb (Tina) Solarz, and Arlene (Ken) Zilinsky.

Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen; and siblings, Lorraine, Dolores, and Donald.

Jerry retired from Standard Oil after working as a Database Supervisor for 25 years.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 25 at 10:00am at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S Rawson Bridge Road, Cary, IL. A luncheon will follow at D'Andrea Banquets and Conference, 4419 US-14, Crystal Lake, IL.
