Visitation for Glen Paul Skoog, 80 formerly of Prospect Heights, will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 3-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Rte 176) Crystal Lake. A Funeral service will be at 10am Monday, February 1, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery. Born October 30 1929 in Chicago, he passed away on January 28, 2010 in Crystal Lake. He was retired from working for Motorola/MECA. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Carole Skoog nee Meyer, whom he married on January 29, 1955; loving children Holly (David) Rider, Penny (Bradley) McCredie, and Wendy (William ) Kilgore; doting grandpa of Linnea, Brett and Hannah Rider, Austin and Madison McCredie, Patrick and Erin Kilgore; dear brother of Richard (Antoinette) Skoog. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Oscar and Mae Skoog nee Skoda.
