Grace Kampert

Barrington, Illinois,The memorial service and inurnment for Grace A. Kampert (nee Stover), 93, will be private. Born September 5, 1916, in Barrington, she passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Kampert was a lifelong member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Barrington, as well as a former cook at Grove Avenue School and the Jewel Tea Plant in Barrington. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Harry M. Kampert, whom she married September 5, 1936, in Crystal Lake; sister, Shirley Jurs; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christ and Mary (nee Holtzee) Stover; and sisters, Laura Johnson,Caroline Prochaska, and Florence Beckhart.
