Heather Ann Zielinski

Heather Haxby Zielinski of Lake In The Hills, passed away December 30, 2022 at the age of 61.

Heather is survived by her husband, Michael; her siblings, Hollis Haxby and David (Paula) Haxby; and her nephew, Joe Haxby.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Norma (nee Ardery) Haxby and Robert Haxby.

A graveside ceremony will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery, 610 S. Dundee Ave. Barrington, at 1:00pm.

Heather grew up in Hinsdale, IL and graduated from Hinsdale Central High School. She went on to Stephens College in Columbia, MO and earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising.
Heather lived and had a successful fashion and buying career in the city for nearly twenty years before marrying her husband and settling in the north west suburbs. Heather loved her home and entertaining, especially designing beautiful table tops from her secret styling closet. Heather was a wonderful friend and loved all those in her life passionately, especially all her dogs (and other people’s dogs)! We will miss her laughter and quick wit, nothing better than to be sharing the inside joke with her or rolling out laughing about a situation.
Heather loved to dance and we hope she has found a good spot on the dance floor in heaven.
