Helen Patricia Bowen

Helen Patricia Bowen (nee Miller), age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

Helen was born on August 29, 1932 in Wheelersburg, OH. She was a loving wife and mother and truly lived life to its fullest.  She will be missed.

Helen is survived by her loving daughters, Kimberly (Thomas) Phelps and Tami (Jon) Wayland; cherished grandchildren, Jessica Marie Wayland, Emily Elizabeth Phelps, Rachel Rose Marie Phelps, Alexandra Helen Wayland, John Thomas Wayland and Karla Patricia Phelps;  beloved siblings, William J.Miller (Patricia), Frank L. Miller(Rita), MaryKay Marshall (John), Theresa Anne Moore (Ted).

Preceded in death by her adored husband of 62 years, Thomas York Bowen; dear sister, BettyLou Fitzer(William) and  brothers, John J.Miller, Donald R. Miller, Fred M. Miller and Edward K. Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 20, 2023 at 10:30am in the chapel at Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH. Entombment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s name may be made to Catholic Charities or Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
