Hilda Elizabeth (Hauptmann) Saraceno

Hilda Elizabeth Saraceno, 74, of McHenry passed away early Monday morning, June 26, 2023.   She was born in Linz, Austria on October 2, 1948.

A fun-loving wife, mom and Oma, there are no words to describe how much she will be missed.  Those that knew her loved her.   Hilda enjoyed quilting, sewing and embroidery and created the most beautiful pieces with her own special touch.

She leaves behind her husband, George Saraceno; children; Katie (Kyle) Jacobsen and Elie Saraceno both of McHenry; and grandchildren, Courtney, Allison, and Nathan Jacobsen.  She is further survived by her mother, Magdelena Pizzica and sisters, Rosi (Tony) Grande, Elka (Carlos) Patterson and Maggie (Ralph) Grande.

A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, June 29, from 3pm until a service at 7pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
