Irene R. Smith

Irene R. Smith, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the age of 80.

She was born January 10, 1942 in Lithuania.

On September 26, 1963, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Thomas R. Smith.

Irene lit up any room she walked into. Her big heart, welcoming smile, great sense of humor and vivacious and sassy personality be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Irene will be dearly missed by her children, Linda (Craig) Roesslein, Tom (Amy) Smith, and Stacy (Mike) Langer; her grandchildren, Gage (Nicole) and Dalton (Grace) Roesslein, Cameron Smith, Trevor and Trace Langer; her great-grandson, Brendon Roesslein; and her brother, Alex Mossenicas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and brother, Raymond.
