Jack Basso

Jack R Basso Beloved husband of Frances. Loving father of Mark (Penny) Basso, Laura (Timothy) O’Donnell, Cynthia (James) English and Julie (Thomas) O’Neill. Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Timothy) Freeman, Anthony, Morgan and Jack Basso, Ryan, Colin and Claire O’Donnell, Brooke, Kyle, Emily and Sam English, and Tommy and Aidan O’Neill and great-grandfather of Joseph, William and Sean Freeman.

Jack was a graduate of DePaul University, an Executive in the chemical industry and a past Fire and Police Commissioner in Lombard.

Visitation Sunday 3:00-8:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home 149 W Main St (Lake Cook Road), Barrington. Funeral Monday, visitation 10:00am until time of Mass 11:00am at St Anne Church 120 N Ela St (not Ela Rd). Interment is private.


In lieu of flowers memorials to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
