Jacqueline “Jackie” J. Nape, 88, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Lake in the Hills, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 1932 in Chicago.
On June 23, 1951 Jackie was united in marriage to Charles “Charlie” Nape; they celebrated 50 years of marriage until his passing in 2001.
Jackie was employed by Oak Industries in Crystal Lake for 25 years and Coilcraft in Cary for 11 years, where she retired in 2000.
Jackie was a member of the Dundee Seniors Club and enjoyed attending the theater during their outings. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and cooking. Her generous nature and her famous kolaczki will be greatly missed.
Jackie will be deeply missed by her loving children, Eileen (Ronald) Lenninger, Suzanne Kimpel, Kathleen (Thomas) Meyer and Margaret (Al) Antoni; grandchildren, Nicole (Mike) Lindquist, Jackie (Andrew) Meyer, Kali (Jim) Martin, Megan and Mitchell Meyer; great-grandchildren, Camden, Natalie, Lincoln, Cheyenne, Charlie and Kelsey.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Chuck; her mother, Margaret and step-father, Walter McLaughlin; and by her son-in-law, Richard Kimpel.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at a later date.
