Jacquelyn McGuire

Jackie McGuire, 53, passed away on May 7, 2024.

Jackie was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and met her future husband, Kevin, in Pittsburgh, PA. They married in 2005 and moved to downtown Chicago, a place she thought everyone in the world should live. Their son Brody was born in 2009 and twins Lilly and Logan in 2011.

Jackie loved being a wife and mother and created a home full of love, warmth, and most especially laughter. Her sense of style and humor, wit, intelligence, and generosity will be grievously missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Sherrie Merkle Robinson and Jim Merkle. 

She is survived by her husband and children, sister Jamie Hammer, brother-in-law John, nephew Connor, niece Kendall, stepfather Lenny Robinson, step brothers and sisters Kim Lucas - Murphy (Lee), Len Robinson Jr (Brea), Alex Robinson, Corey Robinson, Aunts Colleen McKenna (Jay), Michelle Gerideau, Judy Roach, and many cousins.

In lieu of an immediate visitation and service, the family will be planning a celebration of Jackie’s life for family and friends at a future date to be determined. Details will be posted to CaringBridge and Facebook once finalized.
