Services will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26 at Davenport Family Funeral Home. 941 S Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Services will continue with Akhand Paath Bhong & Antim Ardas followed by Langar from 2:00 p.m. to 4;00 p.m. at Palatine Gurudwara. 1280 Winnetka St. Palatine, IL 60067. 

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we remember and celebrate the life of Jagwinder Kaur—a cherished daughter, beloved wife, devoted mother, treasured grandmother, and dear friend.

Jagwinder Kaur was the beloved daughter of Darshan Singh and Mohinder Kaur. She lived her life with kindness, strength, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to her family. Her gentle spirit and selfless nature touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was the devoted wife of Surinder Singh, with whom she shared a life built on love, commitment, faith, and family. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, compassion, and enduring values that continue to guide and inspire their loved ones.

Jagwinder Kaur was a loving and dedicated mother to her three children—Sonia, Ruku, and Gagan. She was also blessed with two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law, whom she embraced not merely as relatives, but as her own children.

Her children were her greatest pride and joy. She devoted her life to nurturing, supporting, and encouraging them through every stage of life. Her wisdom, strength, sacrifices, and unconditional love shaped the individuals they have become today.

One of the greatest blessings of her life was becoming a grandmother to her five cherished grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them—celebrating their milestones, sharing stories, offering guidance, and surrounding them with endless love and affection.

Jagwinder Kaur will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, selfless heart, and deep devotion to her family. Her presence brought comfort, her words offered encouragement, and her actions reflected a life dedicated to serving and caring for others.

Though she is no longer with us in person, her love, values, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

May we honor her legacy by carrying forward the values she embodied and by loving one another as she so lovingly loved us.
