James Earl Perdue

James Earl Perdue, of McHenry, passed away August 23, 2024 at the age of 82.

Jim was born November 22, 1941 in Huntington, WV, the son of the late James Albert and Mabel Elinore (nee Pennington) Perdue.

Jim was a lifetime member of the NRA, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and St. Patrick’s Church Pastoral Council.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra G. Perdue; his children, Patricia A. Boyd of McHenry, James J. (Heather) Perdue of McHenry, and Thomas M. Perdue; his grandchildren, Amanda G. (Mike) Foster of Crystal, MN, Nathan J. (Shaina Summerville) Boyd of Rolling Meadows, Aiden M. Perdue, Talia R. Perdue (McHenry), Thomas W. Jarrett of McHenry, and Nicholas Jarett of Austin, TX; and his siblings, Billie Holub of Lake Zurich and Michael Perdue of Sarasota, FL. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Reba Perdue and Sandra L. Martinez.

A memorial service for Jim is being held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 11-3 p.m. at the McHenry VFW Post 4600, 3002 Illinois Rt. 120, McHenry, IL 60051.
