James “Jim” W. Scardino, 64, of Barrington, IL passed away peacefully on September 29, 2023 in his home in Laguna Woods, CA surrounded by his loving wife and children after a 9 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was predeceased by his father, James Scardino Sr. and Jim left behind his beloved wife, Diane Scardino; children, Andrea (Seth), Rachael and Michael (Colleen) Scardino; his mother, Catherine Scardino; and his siblings, Frank (Cindy) Scardino, Robert Scardino, John Scardino, Diane (Kurt) Eischen and Cathy (Mike) Fiore.

Jim will be so missed by his loving family and hundreds of cherished friends and co-workers. He was a kind and unforgettable man who had a talent for connecting with everyone he met.

Jim's family would like to extend many thanks to everyone who supposed him in his illness this year.

Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL 60010.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Mass at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.) Barrington, IL. Interment will be private.
