Janice C. Minorini

Janice Cory Minorini, of McHenry, formerly of Lake Bluff, passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2026 at the age of 71.

She was born March 29, 1955 in Waukegan, to the daughter of the late Stan Cory and Evelyn Casper (nee Doyle).

Jan grew up in Lake Bluff and was a 1973 graduate of Lake Forest High School, where she met the love of her life, Dave Minorini.

Jan was an avid boater who cherished spending time with family and friends on Lake Michigan. She was the kindest and most caring woman, whose love for her family knew no bounds. Jan never let anyone tell her she couldn’t do something, facing life with determination, warmth, and joy. She will be remembered as a ray of sunshine and a loyal, beloved friend to so many.

Jan is survived by her beloved children, Cory (John) Vlahos, Jana (Jay) Boggs, and Tyler Minorini; her cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Thomas Vlahos, Ryland, Summer and Ocean Boggs.

Visitation will be held at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL on Saturday. June 6th, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Jan’s close friend, Rev. Jim Swarthout.
