Jean "Sue" Jannusch

Jean “Sue” Jannusch, of Lake Zurich, passed away June 25, 2026 at the age of 80.

She was born May 31, 1946 in Evergreen Park, IL, the daughter of the late Norman and Ruth Eleanor (nee Jonson) Erickson.

Sue spent her career in education, retiring as a teacher.

Sue is survived by her husband, Les Jannusch, whom she married June 15, 1968; her children, Brian (Susie) Jannusch of Cary and Kristen (Matt) Mason of North Barrington; her grandchildren, Maddie (Lucas) Pierce, Bobby and Katie Jannusch, and Maggie, Molly and Makenzie Mason; and her sister, Jan (Bob) Sellman of Geneseo, IL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Allison Susan Jannusch.

Services will be held privately.
