Crystal Lake, Illinois,Visitation for Jeanette N. Kruse, nee Nebel, 66, of Crystal Lake, will be held on Wednesday December 30th, from 3-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake. Visitation will also be held on Thursday December 31th, from 10am until the time of Memorial Mass at 11am, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake. Interment will be private at Windridge Cemetery. Born January 1, 1943, in Chicago, she passed away on December 25, 2009 at the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Unit in Woodstock. Jeanette previously worked for Boltswitch, Northern Illinois Gas, and Residential Development Group, all located in Crystal Lake. She was a 59 year parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle. She was a member of their women?s club and was on their Athletic Board. She was a 1960 Crystal Lake Community High School Graduate. She was involved with the National Little League in Crystal Lake, and also loved working with ceramics and crocheting. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David B. Kruse Sr., whom she married on June 13, 1964; beloved children Jeffrey (Alison) Kruse, Richard (Jana) Kruse, and Thomas (Natalie) Kruse; cherished 9 grandchildren; and dear siblings Robert E. Nebel Jr., Richard Nebel, Kathleen (Craig) Aronson, and Sue (Greg) Cole. She was preceded in death by her adored son David B. Kruse Jr., and dearest parents Robert and Kathleen Nebel. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S Hager Ave, Barrington IL 60010 or The National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter, 525 W Monroe St, Ste 900 Chicago IL 60661.
