Joan M. Lineberry

Joan McCraw Lineberry died March 1, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Elgin, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lane Lineberry.  Surviving her are her son, Colin and his wife, Alice, and their two sons, Travis and Matthew of Austin; her daughter Stephanie Marquardt, and her husband Kurt, their three children, Faith Marquardt Gebhardt, Anna Marquardt, and Adam Marquardt, and son-in-law Matt Gebhardt.  Joan, “JoJo” to her grandchildren, was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother and a loyal supporter of her church.

She was extremely proud to see all of her grandchildren graduate from college and to be co-founder, with Charles, of the family’s decades-long tradition of holding an annual family reunion at Jekyll Island, Georgia. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
