Joe Lamb

Joe Lamb, 74, of Lake Zurich, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023. He was born on January 8, 1949 in Ft. Pierce, FL to Mack and Virginia Lamb.

On June 14, 1970, Joe married Linda Law; together they celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with a daughter and further blessed with 2 grandchildren.

Joe graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Chemical Engineering. His career began with US Sugar Corporation in Clewiston, FL; he worked there for over 10 years before moving on to work for CF Industries in Lakeland.

He transferred as Regional Manager to their Corporate offices in Illinois, where he spent the next 28 years before retiring in 2010.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Stephanie (David) Lamb Nowak of Lake Zurich; grandchildren, Taylor Alexis Nowak and Payton David Nowak.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 9 AM until the memorial service at 11 AM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Interment will be private.

Joe served as an elder and was dedicated to his church. In lieu of flowers, to honor him, donations to Lakeview Community Church, 1111 Dogwood Ct., Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
