John Golab

John Golab, 83, longtime resident of Inverness, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024. He was born on May 18, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late Casimer and Jean Golab.

He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen J. Golab; loving companion of Patsy Pawlowski; dear brother of the late Don Golab; fond brother-in-law of Greg (Maxine) Schaefer; cherished uncle of Victoria and Mitchell Golab, Ben Schaefer and Amanda Schaefer Greene; and friend and Godfather to many.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9 AM until the Mass at 10:30 AM at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela St. (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts), Barrington IL. Interment will be private.
