John W. Hunt

John W. Hunt, 70 of Crystal Lake, was born on October 7, 1950, to the late John and Florence Hunt and passed away on July 14, 2021. John was the loving husband of Michele for 43 years; beloved father of Sean (Jenelle) Hunt and Andy Hunt; dear brother of James (Gerry) Hunt; and uncle and friend of many. John was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Katherine Hunt.

John will be remembered for his sense of humor, integrity, love of music, and dedication to his family.

Those who knew John would describe him as multitalented, illustrated by his many passions.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate John’s life will be held on Saturday, July 24, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be held privately for family.
