John Robert Janssen

John Robert Janssen, 78, of Barrington, was born on May 4, 1939 and passed away on January 28, 2018. John was the cherished father of Clayton and the late Rob Janssen. John earned his bachelor’s degree from Parsons College and worked for Crawford & Company after he graduated until his retirement. He loved all sports and his favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed playing golf and competitive handball with his friends. No services will be held for John. Interment will be held privately at White Memorial Cemetery of Cuba Township. Donations may be made in John’s name to the Humane Society, www.humanesociety.org.
