Crystal Lake, Illinois,John R. Quick A Memorial Visitation for John R. Quick, 70 of Crystal Lake will be held from 10am until the time of Memorial Service at 12pm on Saturday, January 30 at The First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake, 461 Pierson St, Crystal Lake. Reverend Arn Schaper will officiate. Born July 23, 1939 in Chicago, he passed away on January 16, 2010 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. During his 20-year teaching career, he taught Biology, Aviation, and Building Trades. After leaving teaching, he became a contractor. He was also a member of The First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Rhonda Quick nee Klingel, whom he married on June 17, 1972; beloved son Ryan Thomas (Emily); cherished grandchildren Delia, age 6, and Henry, age 2; dear brothers Joseph (Barbara) Quick of Newberry, SC and David Quick of Pickens, SC; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Virginia Quick.
