John G. Roth

John Gilbert Roth, 85, of Crystal Lake, IL, passed away suddenly at home on January 22nd. He was born in Chicago, IL in 1935 to Frank and Sophia Roth.

John was the beloved husband of Marian Roth for 62 years; loving brother of James (the late Barbara) Roth and Joyce (the late Andrew) Jamrozik; cherished half-brother of Anton (Karen) Roth; loving brother-in-law of Theodore (Agneta) Jung and Eleanor (Richard) Orna; devoted father of Steven, David (Patricia), Jacqueline (John) Bushie, Elizabeth (Michael) Baietto, Douglas (the late Laura) and Samantha (Kyle) Mohn; treasured grandfather of Christopher (Lindsay) Michael, and Rebecca Roth, Joseph, Danielle, Nicholas and Teresa Baietto; Lauren and Lindsay Mohn; and loving great-grandfather of Gwenyth Michael.

John was employed with Rockwell International as a Systems Analyst and has been retired for 25 years.

John enjoyed dancing, listening to music, decorating, reading, eating a good meal and watching the bad-news Chicago Bears, along with spending time with his beloved wife, children and extended family.

John will be greatly missed by all.
