John Thomas Weaver

John T. Weaver, born November 8, 1939, in Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026.

John was the devoted husband of Patricia Weaver, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage and a lifetime of love, partnership, and adventure.

He was a proud father to two daughters,Patricia (Jon) Stickney and Kate (Phil) Tucker. John was a loving grandfather to JC Stickney, Connor Stickney, Kelly Feller,Max Younger, Grace Younger, Galen Brothers, and a cherished great-grandfather to Ford, Nora, and Jacob Stickney,Chloe Feller, and Waylon and Charlotte Younger. Family was the center of John’s life, and he took immense pride in each generation.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Frederick Weaver and Rose Weaver, and his sisters, Doris Ryan and Eileen Weaver.

John honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and was a longtime member of St. Anne Catholic Church, where his faith remained an important part of his life.

Professionally, John enjoyed a successful and respected lifelong career in the executive search industry, serving as the owner ofJohn T. Weaver, Inc., where he was known for his integrity, relationships, and steady leadership.

An avid golfer, John rarely passed up a chance to get on the course. In retirement, he and Patricia embraced life fully, spending many happy years in Hilton Head, SC, and Marco Island, FL, surrounded by sunshine, friends, and family—always together.

John will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his strong work ethic, his love of golf, and the deep love he shared with Patricia, the love of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and quiet strength that will live on in all who knew and loved him.

A memorial visitation will be on Monday, January 12 beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.) Barrington, IL. 60010
