John V. Wesa, 87, Elk Grove Village, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born in Chicago on August 8, 1935.
He married Majorie Burzik on February 17, 1962. They raised their three children in Elk Grove Village.
John is survived by his wife of sixty years, Marjorie; children, John (Sarah) Wesa, Phil (Melanie) Wesa and Cathy (Roger) Johnson; grandchildren, Paige and Hannah Wesa, Carl (fiancé, Kaylee Bruffett), Beth (Basil) Loosevelt and Elliott (Mary) Wesa, and Ripley Johnson; and special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha (Baisch) Wesa; siblings, Harold, Cliff and Ed; and his cousins, Ken Wesa and Marion Katz.
Services will be held privately.
