John “Vanni” Pizzato, 82, of Crystal Lake, was born on August 20, 1935 to the late Vittorio and the late Rosina Pizzato, and passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017. John was the loving husband of Diane for 60 years; father of Michael (Ashley) Pizzato, Mark (Linda) Pizzato, Catherine (Frank) Ferraro; dear brother of Lillian (Rick) Corazza; grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 2; loving uncle and friend to many. Services for John will be private.
