Joseph Edward Hilliard

Joseph Edward Hilliard, 82, of Barrington, IL passed away June 30, 2023. He was born October 18, 1940 to the late John and Edna Marie Hilliard.

Joseph is a proud graduate of Fenwick High School (’58) and University of Notre Dame (’62).

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of over 56 years, Gerry (nee Nasca) Hilliard; devoted sons, Joseph Jr., and Jonathan (Shannon); best-in-the-world grandsons, Colin and Henry; sisters-in-law, Catherine Keating and Carol Nasca; dear cousins Tom and Mary Kay Paetsch and Tom and Margaret Hilliard; and many cherished relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Frank and Elizabeth “Betty” Nasca.

Wake Sunday, July 9 th 4pm-8pm at Davenport Funeral Home in Barrington. Funeral July 10 th , visitation at 10am, Mass at 11am at St. Anne’s Church in Barrington. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
