Joseph B. Remez, 78, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2023, after a long hard battle with cancer.
He was a long-time resident of Lake Zurich for over 47 years.
Joe is a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army. For his service, he was a proud recipient of two Purple Heart medals and a Bronze Star.
He enjoyed his grandchildren while watching and hearing stories about their sports and school activities.
Joe was survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia; sons Joseph (Jean), Richard (Wendy) and Don (Ann DiMucci); Grandpa to Kailee and Tyler.
Private internment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
Donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
