Judith K. Spry

Judith Kelly Spry, 71 years of age and resident of Barrington, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025.

Judith was born on March 20, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois to Delores (nee Thomas) and the late John Kelly.

She is survived by her loving children Kevin (Morgan) Spry, Nick (Sam) Spry, and Charlie (Bridget) Spry; grandchildren Bodhi Spry and Ashton Spry; mother Delores Kelly; siblings Susan (the late Neal) Ranstead, Thomas (Teri) Kelly, and Katherine (David) Murphy; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Judith was preceded in death by her brother Jim Kelly, father John Kelly, aunt Fran Kelly, and best friend Theresa Vance.

A CPA and more specifically a Forensic Accountant by trade, Judith served as Partner at several well-known CPA firms, including BDO Consulting. She additionally owned and operated her own business, Spry & Co. In her youth, Judith enjoyed skiing, golf, swimming, triathlons, softball, volleyball, boating, and traveling. Most recently she spent her time playing cards and spending time babysitting her grandkids. An avid sports fan, she rooted for the Chicago Bears and was a season ticket holder for the Chicago Cubs. Judith will be missed by many.
