Judy L. Graff

Judy L. Graff, of Crystal Lake, passed away August 6, 2026 at the age of 74.

She was born February 27, 1952 in La Crosse, KS, the daughter of the late Dr. Keith and Jean Bowser.

Judy dedicated nearly 20 years as a paraprofessional with District 47, where she found her greatest joy in working with children with special needs. She formed lasting, meaningful bonds with her special education students and cared deeply about each of them.

Judy found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching The Wizard of Oz, adored Judy Garland and Shirley Temple, and enjoyed listening to oldies music. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, meeting her "peeps" for lunch, and relaxing with Hallmark movies, The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. A devoted Chicago Bears fan, Judy will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her compassionate heart, and the love she shared with her family, friends, and students.

Judy is survived by her children, Dale (Jenny) Draper, Ryan (Erin) Graff, and Tara Graff; her grandchildren, Evan Hogan, Jackson and Madison Graff; her brother, Dr. Robert Bowser; and her sister, Janice Bender.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Graff; and her brother, Michael Bowser.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
