Julia L. Du-Lock

Julia Lorraine DuLock (94) of Crystal Lake, IL passed-away peacefully at The Pearl Rehab of Crystal Lake, IL with her two adult children beside her on Feb. 12th 2023.

She was born Dec. 23, 1928 in Chicago, IL and lived thru the Depression, WWII, and the Korean War of which her brother served in. She is succeeded in death by her beloved parents: Anthony & Antoinette Estrello nee Durante and brother: Anthony Estrello, and loving husband: Roy James DuLock.

She was also called: Julie and Jewel, Mom & Nana. Though she had worked as a secretary she was best known for being a wonderful homemaker and hostess to all family and friends always welcoming them to her home with warm hospitality & homemade goodies! She was very creative at sewing and also knitted and crocheted. Among which she knitted and donated hundreds of needed caps for newborn babies to hospitals! She also donated to many charitable organizations and was a devoted Catholic thruout her life!

Devoted daughter, sister, wife, and loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter: Victoria Ann Rook nee DuLock and granddaughter: April-Joy Rook; her son: Christopher Mark DuLock & wife Debra DuLock nee Sayles and grandsons: Nicholas and Brandon DuLock. Julia DuLock was a truly devoted loving Matriarch to her family who will forever be deeply missed!

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 9am till the time of Mass at 11am at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Burial will follow at 1:15pm at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery,1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.
