Karen Simonini

Karen Simonini nee Keller, 65, Crystal Lake, entered into eternal life March 3, 2010 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Born August 13, 1944 in Elgin, IL, she was the daughter of Edward and Bertha "Bee" (Sportsman) Keller. She married the love of her life, Robert Simonini Jr., October 9, 1965 at St Mary?s Church, Elgin, IL. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, actively volunteering in her church and community and spending time with her grandson. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Kristin (Hank) Deveikis, Tracie (John) Overby; one grandson, Dominic Overby; one sister Marcia (Bob) Mullen. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at St Thomas the Apostle Church, Crystal Lake where she will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. The family will be receiving friends from 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta, Crystal Lake. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin.
