Karen L. Windeguth

Karen L. Windeguth, born May 21, 1944 in La Grange, IL; passed away in Crystal Lake, IL on February 28, 2019.

Karen graduated McMurray College in Jacksonville, IL as a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Karen spent her career as a third grade teacher in Addison, IL and later became a high school aide at Woodstock High School. She enjoyed reading and recognized the importance of education.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Janet Windeguth; her brother, Rich Leonard; three nephews; four nieces; and many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her husband, Kent Windeguth; her parents, Hal and Kim Leonard; and her brother, Hal Leonard.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Crystal Lake Public Library, 126 Paddock St., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
