Katharina Urban

Katharina Urban, 95, passed away on December 3, 2019. She was the mother of Marianne (Stefan) and Gerda (Joseph); grandmother of Steven (Elizabeth), Monica (William), Peter (Tracy), Victoria (Daniel) and Jody (Barbara); great-grandmother of 15 great-grandchildren; and aunt and cousin of many. Katharina was preceded in death by her husband, Stefan; her granddaughter, Christine; and her brother, Georg. Katharina was a proud member of the Danubeswabian Club in Des Plaines, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 9am until the time of her Mass at 10am at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington, IL. Interment will be held at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
