Katherine Louise Moeller

Katherine Louise Moeller, 73, of Marengo, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Marengo. She was born December 22, 1944 in Elgin to Otto and Frances (nee Way).

Katherine was a resident of Florence Nursing Home in Marengo. She had been a client of Pioneer Services in McHenry for many years until her retirement.

Katherine is survived by her sister, Marjorie Leibert; her sister, Dorothy Bieker; her nieces, Rosemary (Don) Sanders and Melody (Bill) Bishop; and her nephew, Ken (Brenda) Saveley.”

Kathy will always be remembered for her hearty laugh and love of wearing jewelry. She loved flowers, donuts, McDonald’s cheeseburgers and iced coffee. She enjoyed arts and crafts, putting puzzles together and socializing with her special friends at Florence Nursing Home. The family would like to sincerely thank the entire staff of Florence Nursing Home and Kathy’s caregivers from Journeycare Hospice for their loving care.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Kenneth A. Leibert.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10am until time of memorial service at 12pm, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Ladies Auxiliary of Florence Nursing Home, 546 E. Grant Highway, Marengo, IL 60156.
