Kathleen Ann (Francisco) Todd

Kathleen Ann Todd, 60, of Crystal Lake, was born July 15, 1958 in Chicago to Ronald and Sharon (nee Bartsch) Francisco. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her home in Crystal Lake.

Kathy loved her family and friends with a fierce passion that knew no bounds. Whether it was blues competitions in Memphis, or driving to and from late night ballet rehearsals, she joyfully supported her children as they grew and explored their way into the world. One of her favorite things to do with her family was vacation on the beach in Longboat Key, Florida. She had a tender soul, particularly when it came to her dogs, prompting her to open Red Rover Pet Services, a successful dog walking and pet sitting business, which she ran with the support of her husband and children. Kathy followed current events and politics closely, and was not shy about expressing her opinions. She was a talented artist, loved rock music, photography and creating beautiful gardens around their home.

While heartbroken at their loss, Kathy’s family knows her presence will remain with them forever. She is survived by her husband, Lowell Todd III; son, Lowell Todd IV; daughter, Grace (Tyler) Olson; mother, Sharon Francisco; brother; and sweet rescue dog, Spring. She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Francisco.

Kathy’s family is eternally grateful for the love and support given throughout this difficult time. They are especially thankful for Kathy’s caregiver, Agnes, and the joy and laughter she brought to her life.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-9pm, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. A memorial service will begin at 10am, Friday, September 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
