Kathleen Mary Trahan and Marilyn Fitzgerald

Visitation for Kathleen Trahan and her sister, Marilyn Fitzgerald will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.

A funeral Mass will be held the following day at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060 at 11AM followed by Kathleen’s burial in the church cemetery.

Kathleen Mary Trahan passed away on June 18, 2023. She was the loving wife of Michael; loving mother of her six children, Robert, Tom, Beth, Dan, Susan and Matt; and the loving nana of 15 grandchildren. Kathleen led an active life raising her children and grandchildren, traveling around the world, and volunteering at St. Mary’s and Winchester House. She was a registered nurse and loved working in the Elmhurst Hospital newborn nursery until she left to raise her own children.

Marilyn Jean Fitzgerald, her younger sister, coincidentally died in the same week. Marilyn was a favorite aunt to nine nieces and nephews along with having four chinchillas and three cats. She loved animals and once worked in the Brookfield Zoo animal infirmary.

We will miss them dearly, but they’ll live on in our hearts.
