Kenneth Michael Fudala

Kenneth Michael Fudala, 70, a longtime resident of Barrington, passed away on August 28, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Patricia Fudala.

Starting his career as a meat cutter at the age of 17, Ken devoted over 50 years to the craft, working at Dominick’s and Jewel in Barrington. His skill, dedication, and friendly demeanor made him a well-respected figure in his field.

Ken married his beloved wife, Jeannie, on August 6, 1977, at St. Anne Church in Barrington. They recently celebrated 47 beautiful years of marriage and were blessed with 2 children and further blessed with 5 grandchildren. He took immense pride in his family, especially his grandchildren, and cherished every moment spent with them.

A passionate fisherman, Ken recently enjoyed a memorable Father’s Day trip to Ontario, where he indulged in his favorite pastime. Ken also loved spending time outdoors and tinkering with various projects, always with enthusiasm and care.

In addition to his beloved wife, Jeannie, Ken is survived by his children, Jessica (Dave) Haas of Crystal Lake, IL and Adam (Melissa) Fudala of Shorewood, WI; grandchildren, Maria and Julia Lordots, Ian Haas, Presley and Jude Fudala; his sister, Denise (Imad) Ghantous; and by his best friend, Harry Kraft.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Fudala.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 9 AM until the time of funeral service at 11 AM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL 60010. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
