Harvard, Illinois,HARVARD- Kenneth H. Kot, 71, of Harvard passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at Centegra Hospital in Woodstock surrounded by loving family. He was born Sept. 18, 1938 in Chicago to Henry and Helen (Anderson) Kot. He was a graduate of Steinmetz High School in Chicago, IL and the University of Illinois, Chicago Campus, where he earned his pharmacy degree. Ken loved the north woods, the western states and history, and all things cowboy. Survivors include his wife Cherry Kot, his daughter Lynn Kot, his sister Barb (Bill) Lundberg, his step-son Rick Church, his step-granddaughter Krysta Church, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ron Kot. The memorial service will be held on Wed. Jan 20th at the First United Methodist Church, 201 W. South St., Woodstock, IL 60098. The service will start at 11am promptly and be followed by a luncheon at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S.
