Kenneth Charles Larwin

Kenneth Charles Larwin, 87, of Barrington, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022. He was born on April 12, 1935 in Chicago, IL to the late Kenneth L. and Catherine (nee Voekler) Larwin.

Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army. When he was released from active duty, he returned to USAR to complete his remaining service obligation of over 5 years.

Kenneth’s career at the Chicago Tribune spanned for 45 years. He started while in high school as an office boy and rose to Senior Salesman in 1961 in advertising.

On May 25, 1963, he married Willa Brewton at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Melrose Park, IL and celebrated 59 beautiful years of marriage.

In addition to wife Willa, he is survived by his step-son, William R. Arnold of Arlington Heights, IL; his nephew and niece, Brian (Ingrid) Fitzpatrick; great nephew and niece, Brandon and Megan Fitzpatrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Larwin.

Services and interment will be private.
