Kenneth D. Simonds, 51 of Buffalo Grove
Born July 5, 1963 in Evanston, passed away September 4, 2014 at his home in Buffalo Grove.
Ken served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984 until 1994, with several overseas deployments, earning many service medals.
Ken is survived by his children Evan and Nolan, and their mother Stacy, brother Alan (Penelope) Simonds, sister in law Barbara Simonds, and nieces Sarah and Martha Simonds. He was preceded in death by his parents Viola and Michael Simonds.
Memorial visitation will be held from 4pm until military honors at 7pm, Monday, September 8 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington. Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Boy Scouts Troop 198, Mundelein.
