Kevin T. Gels, 59, of Chicago passed away February 6, 2020. He was born in Bay Shore (Long Island), NY on February 26, 1960 to Donald and Lois Gels.
Survivors include his mom, Lois; siblings, Duane (Julie), Timothy, Carey (Joseph) McGovern, and Matthew; and nieces and nephews, Ryan and Joshua McGovern, Noah, Molly and Logan Gels, and Laura and Catherine Gels.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Donald.
Visitation will be Friday, February 14, from 6 until 8:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington. Mass will be on Saturday, February 15, at 11am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (not Ela Rd.), Barrington, with burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous at www.aa.org.
