Kevin John McCarthy, 58, of Lake in the Hills, passed away at his home on August 2, 2022. Kevin put up a valiant fight against glioblastoma for over two years and in many ways beat the odds.

He was employed in northern Illinois by Motorola for 20 years where he held various technical positions and he worked as a systems engineer with AT&T for 10 years.

Kevin was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and he enjoyed boating, fishing, and doing home improvement projects.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Michelle “Chellie” Wilkosz-McCarthy; his children, Adam, Jake, and Ashley; his sister Callie (Jeff) Bjurstrom and brother Brendon (Shelly) McCarthy, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
