Kimberly Marie Frank

Kimberly Marie (Sisco) Frank, 68, of Milan, passed away the morning of May 18, 2026. 

There will be a celebration of life event held at Great River Brewery, 332 E. 2nd St., Davenport, IA, 52801, on May 29, 2026 from 5 - 7:30 PM. Born on October 17, 1957, in Rock Island, IL., Kim was the eldest daughter of Margaret Owens, who preceded her in death on July 29, 2025. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Sisco.

In life, Kim was an anchor of stability for her family. She listened more than she spoke. She sought understanding over judgement. She embodied selflessness – always putting others before herself. While raising two boys as a single parent, Kim would endure hours of band practice (complete with drums, guitar, bass, and noisy vocals), trumpet and saxophone practice, and adolescent boys shuffling in and out of her house at a steady cadence. She was happy to accommodate this because she understood the growth and joy it brought to her two sons.

Aside from spending time with family, Kim enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Kim also enjoyed bowling with her mother, Margaret, her sister, Patricia, and her friend, Kathy White, in her younger years. She spent the majority of her career employed at the Rock Island Arsenal.

Kim is survived by her sons, Anthony (Chloe) Frank of Hoffman Estates, IL., Jonathan (Amy) Frank of Minneapolis, MN., and her two sisters, Linda (Chris) Damewood of Athens, TN., and Patricia (Van) Willows of Davenport, IA. She is also survived by four grandchildren – Avery, Hayden, Robert, and Lucille.
