Larry "Tom" Liebig

Larry “Tom” Thomas Liebig, 75, of Pingree Grove passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023.  He was born in Chicago on December 16, 1947, to the late Martin and Madeline (Parkinsen) Liebig.

Tom was married to his loving wife, Pamela, for 51 years.  He found his faith in Jesus late in life and loved to attend church and bible studies. As a computer engineer for over three decades, his service to his church family included his great skill in audio/visual and technical lighting. In his younger days, he loved to travel, especially cross country.  Tom also enjoyed woodworking and model railroading, and had a huge heart for animals.

Family was important to Tom, and he enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s baseball games, concerts, musicals, and other events.  He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela; children, Jennifer (Larry) Mendel of Lake Forest, CA, Corey (Valeri) Liebig of Ladera Ranch, CA, and Amy (Eric) Rohde of South Elgin, IL; and grandchildren, Alex, Belle, Sam, Michael, Andrew, Ryan, and Benjamin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, from 1pm until a service at 4pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
