Laura Jean Anderson

Laura Jean Anderson, 57, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. She was born in Chicago to Roy and Jeanette Anderson.

Laura was unforgettable in every way. She was funny, full of classic Laura-isms, a riot, and always a lot of fun. She would give you a run for your money and keep you laughing the whole time. She liked her coffee with two "fresh creams" and loved going out to eat, especially if it involved steak and cheeseburgers. She enjoyed watching ME TV and had a habit of liking things fresh and new, whether it was opening a new box of cereal when there was still plenty left in the old one or starting a new bar of soap before the first was gone.

Laura longed for companionship and loved being with people. Having friends and feeling a sense of belonging meant a great deal to her. She enjoyed painting and took pride in making rosaries.

Survivors include her sisters, Linda (Ed) Andre, Janice Costantino, and Amy Anderson. She was the beloved aunt of Stephanie, Donald, Ritchie, Jonny, Ronald, Christopher, Kayla, Angelo, and Ava, and great aunt to Mary-Jane.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Jeanette and her brother-in-law, Ben Costantino.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, from 10 a.m. until a mass at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 S. McHenry Avenue, Crystal Lake.
